Pop sensation Demi Lovato drops her latest single, “Low Rise Jeans,” a bold new release that arrives alongside the announcement of a deluxe version of her ninth studio album.
Released on April 17, the song serves as part of the rollout for the expanded version of her critically acclaimed 2025 album, It’s Not That Deep. Titled It’s Not That Deep (Unless You Want It To Be), the new project is set to feature eight additional tracks, including “Low Rise Jeans,” arriving April 24.
The 33-year-old singer previously previewed the then-unreleased track during the kickoff of her It’s Not That Deep Tour on April 13 in Orlando, Florida. Fans got to experience the song live for the first time, sparking immediate excitement ahead of its release. Her more recent Washington, DC show also included a special reveal of the deluxe album’s cover art, shown exclusively to showgoers before being later shared by Lovato on social media.
Released under Island Records, “Low Rise Jeans” explores themes of confidence, self-expression, and rebellion. Built on dance-pop production and club-ready, electronic textures, the track highlights the Grammy-nominated artist’s shift toward high-energy, electropop.
Known for her vocal power and genre versatility, Lovato continues her active return to new music releases amid her ongoing tour, using the live shows as a platform to debut new material, connect with fans, and build momentum around her latest era.
Produced by Live Nation, the It’s Not That Deep Tour continues April 18th in Philadelphia, with upcoming stops in Boston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, and more. The tour has already sparked viral moments among fans, including surprise guest appearances from former Disney Channel stars such as Joe Jonas, who performed with Lovato, and Selena Gomez, who was spotted in the audience during the kickoff show.
