Star Music’s Darren Espanto has just dropped his latest single, “Iyo,” which was recently featured in the prime-time series Can’t Buy Me Love.
The newly released track serves as a heartfelt confession of love and a commitment to weather life’s highs and lows together. Crafted under the expertise of ABS-CBN Music’s creative director, Jonathan Manalo, with arrangements by Tommy Katigbak and mixing/mastering by Dante Tañedo, it’s evident that all the effort has made the track poised to be a musical sensation.
Originally performed in its Chinese version within the plot of Can’t Buy Me Love, Darren expressed his love for Belle Mariano‘s character, Caroline. The recently launched music video, debuting on Valentine’s Day, showcases the series’ enchanting stars Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings, known for their roles as Irene and Snoop, respectively.
“Iyo” follows Espanto’s recently released single, “Bibitaw Na,” which has garnered immense success online –– having amassed over 7.3 million views on TikTok alone, and more than 285,000 streams on Spotify.
