Darren Espanto has just released his new single, “Paalam Muna Sandali.”
The newly released track serves as the latest eviction theme song of the ongoing season of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition — with the emotional ballad first being played during this season’s first eviction night. Composed and produced by ABS-CBN Music’s renowned Jonathan Manalo, the heartfelt song is also set to be included in the track list of Espanto’s upcoming album under Star Music.
Espanto is no stranger to the world of Pinoy Big Brother, as “Paalam Muna Sandali” follows the release of his other PBB theme song, “Sikat Ang Pinoy,” which was done in collaboration with Julie Anne San Jose.
Just recently, Espanto was present at Billboard Philippines‘ Women in Music: The Executive Edition event, having served as the presenter for PARI President and entertainment lawyer Atty. Marivic Benedicto, as she accepted her award as the Music Rights Executive of the Year.
Last year, he also celebrated his tenth anniversary in the entertainment industry with a grand sold-out concert at Araneta Coliseum, telling Billboard Philippines, “Ten years later, I’m still doing what I love.” He also released a series of singles, which include “Iyo,” “Hanggang Kailan,” and “Miss.”
