Baguio-based pop band Cup of Joe are set to hold their first-ever solo concert at the New Frontier Theater this February 9, 2024. In an updated announcement, posted December 27, Viva Records shared that tickets are on sale now via TicketNet. Tickets range between PHP 700 and PHP 5,200.
In an announcement made on December 29, the band shared that have also added a second show date due to popular demand. Cup of Joe will now be performing on February 9 and 10 at the New Frontier Theatre.
The band was recently named as the Most Streamed OPM Group on Spotify Philippines, surpassing Ben&Ben last November 19. In an Instagram post where they reacted to the news, they wrote, “From jamming in our school to topping charts – overwhelmed and grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it,” Cup of Joe posted on social media, further adding that their music is not limited to commercial success but nonetheless expressed gratitude to its fans for making their recent success happen.”
“While we understand that our music and identity as artists shouldn’t be solely defined by numbers, we want to express our gratitude for achieving these unexpected milestones. We’re now the Top 1 OPM band, Top 2 OPM artist, and part of the Top 10 on Spotify PH.”
Earlier this year, the band released their now-viral collaboration, “Tingin” (Look) with singer-songwriter Janine Teñoso. It debuted on the Billboard Philippine Songs Chart at the 25th spot. As of December 11, the song has hit its peak on the charts at the sixth spot.
