In commemoration of their seven-year anniversary, chart-breaking Baguio-bred band Cup of Joe released a surprise single entitled “Sandali,” written by all five members of the band. Produced by Shadiel Chan and Jovel Rivera, and published under Viva Records, the new track is an ode to commitment and loyalty to their beloved Joewahs (their fanbase).
On the caption of their post announcing the new song, the five-piece wrote, “No more chasing time—your ‘Sandali’ has arrived.” Furthermore, the new single has been hinted at as a special pre-concert release leading up to their ‘Stardust‘ concert this October.
This marks the band’s first major musical drop following their Silakbo debut album, which holds chart-breaking hits like “Multo,” “Pahina,” and more. Furthermore, the release of the full-length feature was celebrated by their iconic two-day ‘SILAKBO‘ tour kickoff concert in the Araneta Coliseum, before the group took their live performances around the nation. As it stands, Cup of Joe has dominated the top spot of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 for 30 weeks and counting (dated September 6, 2025). Additionally, they hold several spots on the Chart with “Tingin” with Janine at No. 12, “Misteryoso” at No. 33, “Estranghero” at No. 70, “Pahina” at No. 86, and “Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko” at No. 96 spot.
