Announced just today (December 15, 2025), Korean singer and former LOONA member CHUU is set to release her highly anticipated solo debut album titled XO, My Cyberlove. The full-length feature is slated to come out on January 7, 2026, at 6 PM KST (5 PM Philippine Standard Time).
While additional details about the record, like its track list and the like, have yet to be released, the artist has been debuting teaser photos and videos for the fresh drop. On the captions of these posts, the idol writes, “‘Dear friend, 안녕?’ 이 인사가 나를 처음으로 세상에 연결했다.” (“’Dear friend, hello?’ That greeting was what first connected me to the world.)
This follows CHUU’s recent work on the original soundtrack of the Korean webtoon Maru is a Puppy, which was a single titled “Cutie Pie.” Apart from her work on soundtracks, the singer/actress released her latest EP, Only cry in the rain. The five-track record spawned some of her most popular solo tracks to date, like “Kiss a kitty,” “Only cry in the rain,” “Back in town,” and more.
In 2017, Kim Ji-woo (known by her artist tag as CHUU) was revealed as a member of the girl group LOONA. She then went on to become a popular TV personality and actress before making her solo debut on October 18, 2023, with her first mini album, Howl.
