World-renowned rapper, singer, dancer, and style icon LISA has just released her highly anticipated new single, “Rockstar,” out via LLOUD Co. and RCA Records.
“Rockstar” showcases LISA’s seamless blend of sharp rap verses and energetic pop vocals, and was produced by legendary pop producers Ryan Tedder and Sam Homaee.
Alongside the single, the K-pop icon unveiled the official music video for the track, directed by Henry Schofield and choreographed by Sean Bankhead. The video was filmed on location in Bangkok and shows LISA embracing her Thai heritage with the city’s vibrant street scenes, colorful personalities, and her own electrifying choreography.
Lisa first teased the release of “Rockstar” earlier this month with the launch of her TikTok account, which set a Guinness World Record by amassing an extraordinary number of 1 million followers in just 2 hours and 18 minutes. The track marks LISA’s first solo release under her recently launched label LLOUD Co. and a partnership with Sony’s RCA Records. LLOUD Co., founded by LISA earlier this year, aims to push creative boundaries and highlight her unique vision in music and entertainment.
Outside of the music realm, Lisa is also slated to make her on-screen acting debut in the upcoming third season of HBO’s award-winning series, The White Lotus, which is currently filming in her native land of Thailand.
