BLACKPINK will be in your area this year.

On February 5, 2025, the K-pop hitmakers made the official announcement that they are set to go on a world tour in 2025. It will be their first world tour as a group since their highly successful ‘BORN PINK’ world tour, which ran from October 2022 to September 2023 and consisted of 66 concerts across 22 different countries. Drawing in an audience of around 1.8 million people, the ‘BORN PINK’ world tour was described as “the highest-grossing tour from an Asian act and a female group in history,” with Billboard notably ranking it at No. 10 on their 2023 Year-End Top 40 Tours chart worldwide.

News of the highly anticipated world tour, alongside BLACKPINK’s long-awaited comeback as a group, was first announced by YG Entertainment founder and producer Yang Hyun Suk last July 2024, making the announcement through record label’s YouTube channel. “I can’t say we have specific plans yet, but I think a lot of artists will be active simultaneously,” he shared. “There will be a highly anticipated comeback from BLACKPINK and it will also be the year BLACKPINK starts their world tour.”

Ahead of their comeback and global trek this year, the members of BLACKPINK are also busy with their solo musical endeavors. ROSÉ released her debut studio album rosie last December 2024. This Valentine’s Day, JISOO, alongside her career in acting, will also be releasing her debut EP, entitled AMORTAGE. Meanwhile, at the end of the month, LISA will release her own debut full-length record, named ALTER EGO. JENNIE is also set to release her own debut album, entitled RUBY, this March 2025.
