Marking a landmark moment for Filipino music on the global stage, BINI are set to release their brand-new single, “A Parallel World,” as part of the official soundtrack for DreamWorks’ upcoming animated fantasy film, Forgotten Island.
Arriving on July 23, 2026, the song was first previewed during the kickoff of BINI’s Signals World Tour at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The performance featured exclusive choreography created specifically for the track, giving fans an early look at its signature dance move.
DreamWorks officially announced the song’s release date through a behind-the-scenes video of BINI recording “A Parallel World.” The clip also sees the members recreating the film’s official poster of two hands holding onto each other.
Set to premiere in Philippine cinemas on September 23, 2026, Forgotten Island follows best friends Jo and Raisa, voiced by Grammy-winning Filipino-American artist H.E.R. and Filipina actress Liza Soberano, respectively. Drawing heavily from Filipino mythology and folklore, the fantasy adventure comedy celebrates the country’s rich culture through its vibrant storytelling, music, and world-building.
BINI join an all-Filipino lineup of artists featured on the soundtrack, including Broadway legend Lea Salonga, who also voices The Dreaded Manananggal in the film, global girl group KATSEYE‘s Filipina member Sophia Laforteza, and the Kings of P-pop SB19.
Other tracks confirmed for the soundtrack include “BRB,” a new rendition of Francis Magalona’s classic “Mga Kababayan,” a reimagined version of INXS’ “Never Tear Us Apart,” and “Salbahe Ako” by Filipino acts Ruby Ibarra and Carl Angelo.
Composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, BINI were also recently named the newest tourism ambassadors of the Philippines by the Department of Tourism — further cementing their influence as global representatives of Filipino music, culture, and identity.
