Broadway icon Lea Salonga, P-pop groups BINI and SB19, KATSEYE member Sophia Laforteza, and more Filipino artists are set to appear on the official soundtrack for DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming film, Forgotten Island.
Arriving in cinemas on September 23, 2026, the animated fantasy adventure comedy unveiled its official trailer on March 25, 2026, giving audiences a glimpse into its colorful world inspired by Filipino mythology, culture, and music.
Drawing heavily from ’80s and ’90s Filipino-American musical influences, the soundtrack brings together a stacked lineup of Filipino talent across pop, hip-hop, and contemporary music, highlighting the growing global impact of Pinoy artists.
Grammy-winning Filipino-American singer H.E.R. and actress Liza Soberano, who are both part of the film’s voice cast alongside Salonga, will perform Forgotten Island’s lead single, “BRB,” written by H.E.R.
Meanwhile, BINI contributes their new original track, “A Parallel World,” which the group previously previewed during their Signals World Tour kickoff at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. SB19 also joins the soundtrack with their own rendition of Francis M.’s iconic anthem, “Mga Kababayan.”

Filipino-American rapper Ruby Ibarra also joins the lineup with rising artist Carl Angelo for their collaborative track, “Salbahe Ako.”
Directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, Forgotten Island follows childhood best friends Jo (H.E.R.) and Raissa (Soberano) as they accidentally journey to the mysterious island of Nakali, home to mythical Filipino creatures.
The film also stars Dolly de Leon, Manny Jacinto, Jenny Slate, Jo Koy, Ronny Chieng, Dave Franco, and more.
