P-pop girl groups BINI and G22 will be part of a “performance exchange” on Lay Zhang’s pop group competition show, Show It All.
The two groups made the announcement via social media yesterday, where they will be representing the Philippines. Other invited groups include DOLLA from Malaysia, PiXXie from Thailand, and Boys World from the United States.
In a video by BINI, they shared that they will be part of the “performance exchange,” where it is assumed that the different girl groups will be showcasing performances either for the trainees or for the audience. G22’s video saw AJ, Alfea, and Jaz sharing that Show It All is opening the performance stage “to the world.” Both girl groups were spotted returning to the Philippines from China earlier in March.
Show It All is produced by EXO member Lay Zhang’s entertainment company, and is a survival show where trainees compete with one another to form the next girl group. The show will premiere its pilot episode on March 28 on Mango TV.
In other news, BINI were recently honored with the Rising Star Award at the first-ever Billboard Philippines Women in Music Awards last March 22, 2024 at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura. SB19 member Stell made a surprise appearance as the presenter of the award, where he said, “Mula sa aming lima sa inyong walo, congratulations! (From us five to you eight, congratulations!)”
In a blue carpet interview with the girl group, Maloi shared, “We really worked hard for this. Lahat ng pagod namin, lahat ng sacrifices namin, ito na ‘yun (All of our pain, all of our sacrifices, it all led up to this).“
BINI are also featured in the special Women in Music print issue of Billboard Philippines, where they join the other honorees of the Billboard Philippines Women in Music Awards.
