Cup of Joe and their biggest song yet, “Multo,” continue to showcase their widespread impact on Filipino listeners nationwide — a fact solidified by officially being the longest-reigning song on the Billboard Philippines charts.

On October 12, 2025 (Sunday), the alternative pop band were presented by Billboard Philippines publisher Anne Bernisca and managing editor Jason Caballa with a plaque of recognition for this feat. It was given to the band during the third day of their ‘Stardust’ Manila concert, held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

At the time of being given the award, “Multo” had held the No. 1 spot on the Philippines Hot 100 and Top Philippine Songs charts for 27 weeks straight — the most by any artist in the charts’ history. This achievement is significant as it not only objectively proves that “Multo” is currently the biggest song in the Philippines, but that it has also beaten out other viral and successful songs constantly being listened to by Filipino listeners in the past few months —including “Golden” from the Kpop Demon Hunters soundtrack, NIKI’s cover of “You’ll Be In My Heart,” December Avenue’s “Saksi Ang Langit,” and more.

“Multo” first reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Philippines charts during the week of April 19, 2025. Since then, it has held onto its position without contest.

Released on September 14, 2024, “Multo” is the first single from Cup of Joe’s debut album Silakbo, which came out on January 17, 2025. Since the song came out last year, it has seen a strong listenership nationwide, continuing to achieve millions of streams per week after initially going viral thanks to consistent usage on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
