BINI’s rise to global stardom continues as they have been awarded the title of the Philippines No. 1 Artist.

Tonight (February 15), at their biggest concert to date in the world’s largest indoor venue, the Philippine Arena, BINI have been crowned by Billboard Philippines as the country’s top artist of 2024. Last year marked exponential growth for not only the group’s popularity as a unit, but also their influence as tide-shifters in the Philippine music scene. Representing the Philippines on a global scale, BINI has long been recognized with the title of the “Nation’s Girl Group.”

Their growing influence and infectious energy also made its way into the everyday listeners’ habits, as the group dominated a majority of the Billboard Philippines‘ Year End Top Philippine Songs chart. Their motivational pop hit “Karera” took the No. 13 slot and “Salamin, Salamin” stood at the No. 4 position. Their widely-loved summer smash hit, “Pantropiko,” placed third on the overall Top Philippine Songs chart.

In their previous cover story as the Philippines’ No. 1 Artist, BINI’s Maloi shared, “I hope that they [Filipinos] will never forget the craze that we left on the world in this lifetime. Because you’ll never know, there might be several groups that will come out 20 years after us, but I hope they will never forget the happiness that we [as BINI] have left for the [Filipino music] scene over the years.”

BINI are also set to embark on a World Tour, following Grand BINIverse Repeat Concert in the Philippine Arena. The group will be bringing their music all over the globe, to countries like Singapore, Dubai, London, and the USA — further establishing their reign as the Philippines’ top artist.
