Billboard has revealed their list of awardees for the 2024 installment of their annual Women in Music Awards.

In an Instagram post dated January 24 (Philippine time), the global music platform announced which artists will receive the awards this year. Pop singer-songwriter Charli XCX will be awarded as this year’s Powerhouse, which is the award for the artist who dominates sales, streaming, and radio play. Rapper Ice Spice will receive the Hitmaker award, while celebrated pop artist Kylie Minogue will be awarded the Icon award for her accomplishments in the industry.

Other awardees include Luísa Sonza for Global Force, Maren Morris for Visionary, K-Pop breakout girl group NewJeans for Group of the Year, Tems for Breakthrough, Victoria Monét for the Honda Rising Star award, and Young Miko for the American Express Impact award. The Woman of the Year awardee will be revealed at a later date.

The awarding ceremony is set to happen on March 6 (Pacific Standard Time) at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. Fans can also vote for the Biggest Chart Achievement, Favorite Beauty/Style Brand and previous honorees for the Rising Star and Icon awards. Last year’s Women In Music Awards saw the celebration of some of the most exciting artists in music including SZA, Twice, Becky G, Latto, and more.

At the recent Billboard Music Awards, NewJeans went home with the award for Top Global K-Pop Artist. They were also nominated for the Top K-Pop Album award for their EP Get Up, bowing out to Stray Kids’ 5-STAR. Other Billboard Women In Music awardees were also recognized at the Billboard Music Awards, such as Ice Spice, who was nominated for Top New Artist.
