G-DRAGON has teamed up with a number of prominent artists in the South Korean entertainment industry to release a song for a good cause. Made through the King of K-pop’s very own variety show Good Day, the new single, entitled “Good Day 2025” — was unveiled on April 24, 2025 (Thursday).
“Good Day 2025” is a reimagining and mash-up the ’80s disco funk hits “Telepathy” and “By the Moonlight Window” by iconic South Korean musical duo Dosi Brothers. The songs were personally handpicked by G-DRAGON during the show.
The track and its accompanying music video features a stacked lineup of artists appearing on the track, including other K-pop artists, actors and actresses, comedians, and more — all of whom appeared on the variety show. Namely, this includes G-DRAGON’s fellow BIGBANG members TAEYANG and DAESUNG, 2NE1’s CL, SEVENTEEN’s BSS sub-unit (Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi), aespa, DAY6, Code Kunst, Kian84, Jung Hae-in, Kim Go-eun, Im Si-wan, Jung Hyung-don, Defconn, Lee Soo-hyuk, Hong Jin-Kyung, Hwang Kwang-hee, Jo Se-ho, Chef Ahn Sung-jae, and Hwang Jung-min.

Airing for a total of eight episodes from February to April 2025, Good Day was inspired by G-DRAGON’s desire to “use the power of music for something good.” Alongside providing a peak into G-DRAGON’s daily life, the show saw the multi-hyphenate take on the role of a music producer as he met up, hung out, and helped create the song with the aforementioned artists. All profits gained from the single will be donated to charities, particularly, including underprivileged youth, as well as at-risk communities.
