DAESUNG has released a new mini album, entitled D’s WAVE his label RND Company Inc. It’s release was initially announced by the BIGBANG singer on March 18, 2025 (Tuesday).

Released on April 8, 2025 (Tuesday), the new EP significantly serves as DAESUNG’s first ever South Korean-language EP, as his previous ones — 2014’s Delight and 2017’s D-Day and Delight 2 — were all Japanese releases. The “Falling Slowly” hitmaker — who is also known by his stage name D-Lite in Japan — has notably focused most of his solo career activities in Japan, with his first two studio albums D’scover and D’sLove having also been Japanese releases.

Alongside the release of D’s WAVE, DASEUNG has also premiered a music video for the mini-album’s third track “Universe,” which you can watch below:

In addition to this, DAESUNG has also announced that he is set to hold a tour of Asia this 2025, revealing that it will kick off with a two-night concert at the prestigious Olympic Hall of the Olympic Park in Seoul. The upcoming pair of shows is also set to happen next month, on April 26 and 27 (Saturday and Sunday).

Notably, DAESUNG’s fellow BIGBANG member TAEYANG was recently in Manila as part of his ‘THE LIGHT YEAR’ world tour. Meanwhile, BIGBANG’s leader G-DRAGON is set to hold his own solo concert in the country at the world-famous Philippine Arena in Bulacan this May as part of his world tour in support of his third album Übermensch.
