Artist and content creator Bella Poarch may be releasing a new album soon.

In an interview with Billboard at the Gold Gala, she revealed that she has been writing songs “for a couple of months now” and fans can expect a new record from her this year.

“It’s about seventy percent done,” she shared. “This type of Bella [in the album] is definitely going to be different from the Dolls EP Bella and the ‘F* OFF’ Bella. She’s gonna be more raw and authentic…more emotional and [stripped] down.”

The Gold Gala celebrated the achievements of Asian American and Pacific Islander figures in various industries. Poarch wore two Filipiniana-inspired outfits and was styled by Filipino-American stylist Nikko Panti. Her custom pink ensemble was designed by revered Filipina designer Vania Romoff while her dark terno top was designed by Mindanawon designer Abdul Gaffar.

The news comes after the release of “F* OFF,” her bi-lingual pop collaboration with Kenia OS. The single was dropped on April 23. Prior to that, the two artists collaborated on a bilingual version of Bella Poarch’s “Bad Boy.” The upcoming album will be the singer’s first-ever full length release, following her debut EP Dolls in 2022.

Dolls featured her breakout single as an artist, “Build A B*tch,” as well as features from Grimes and Sub Urban. She also collaborated with K-Pop group ENHYPEN on their 2023 mini-album, Orange Blood. Poarch’s rendition of “Sweet Venom” was a digital-exclusive single and was produced by Slow Rabbit and Connor McDonough, with the original Korean-language track featuring production work from ENHYPEN member Jay. Before becoming an artist, she gained popularity via TikTok, where she gained millions of views for various TikTok videos.

Last year, she also launched her new variety show, Bella Levels Up, which airs every Wednesday on Crown. The show follows Poarch and a number of guest stars as they play different video games and various activities. Bella Levels Up premiered last October 25 ran for four weeks. Shortly after, Crown announced the closure of their platform, with the Bella Levels Up series finale being their last broadcast.
