Rivermaya are going on tour.

Following their monumental reunion concert, the iconic Filipino rock band confirmed that they will embarking on a tour around the US and Canada featuring their classic lineup: Bamboo Mañalac, Rico Blanco, Mark Escueta, and Nathan Azarcon.

The news was confirmed by Escueta through a Facebook post that read, “Looks like it’s gonna be a busy year after all.” Presented by Tiana Entertainment, dates for the Canada and US tour were announced on July 9, revealing a total of 4 stops in Canada and 5 stops in the US.

  • Sept 6 – Winnipeg
  • Sept 8 – Vancouver
  • Sept 13 – Toronto
  • Sept 14 – Red Deer

USA:

  • Sept 22 – San Diego
  • Sept 27 – Las Vegas
  • Sept 28 – San Francisco
  • Oct 4 – Los Angeles

The classic lineup of Rivermaya took the stage last February 17, putting together a show that showcased their importance in Filipino rock history. Presented by Live Nation Philippines, the concert transported fans back to the ’90s as they performed hits like “Hinahanap-Hanap Kita,” “214,” “Elesi,” and more.

Mañalac, Blanco, Escueta, and Azarcon were all active members of Rivermaya from 1994 to 1998, and recorded three albums, Rivermaya (with guitarist Perf De Castro, who quit the band in 1995), Trip, and Atomic Bomb.
