Balming Tiger And Atarashii Gakko! To Release Single “Narani Narani”
This marks the two acts’ first-ever collaboration.

Last night (June 18, 2025), South Korean collective Balming Tiger and Japanese girl group Atarashii Gakko! announced their upcoming joint single entitled “나란히 나란히 (Narani Narani).” The song is slated for release on June 20, and can be pre-saved here.
On Balming Tiger’s end, this follows their recent single entitled “Wash Away,” which was released earlier this year on January 29. This followed their recent EP Greatest Hits, which contains popular tracks like “Big Butt,” “Spirit Chaebol,” and more. The group are also slated to perform for the upcoming highly anticipated Fuji Rock Festival in Japan this July 25 to 27.
On the other hand, Atarashii Gakko! (also known as Atarashii Gakkou no Leaders) have recently collaborated with the genre-bending artist BIGYUKI on the single “Free Yourselves.” Earlier this year, they also joined forces with Norwegian singer-songwriter AURORA on a collaborative rendition of “Some Type of Skin.” Additionally, last March 16, the girl group joined a prestigious lineup of fellow J-pop acts YOASOBI and Ado for the Matsuri ’25 in Los Angeles.
