Ariana Grande has finally announced the release of her seventh studio album’s deluxe edition, which is officially titled eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead.

The upcoming record was shared via a surprise announcement that included the reveal of the deluxe album’s artwork, which features the pop superstar being levitated up in the air by an unidentified beam in the sky. Her caption to the post was short yet sweet, simply stating “eternal sunshine deluxe ♡” alongside the record’s release date of March 28, 2025.

eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead takes its name from the fictional company featured in Grande’s music video of “we can’t be friends (wait for your love),” which in turn pays homage to the popular 2004 film, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The forthcoming deluxe edition of the album is set to include six bonus tracks on digital and streaming editions, while physical copies will include the six, plus remixes to “yes, and?” featuring Mariah Carey, “supernatural” featuring Troye Sivan, and “the boy is mine” featuring Brandy and Monica.

Upon the original record’s release last March 2024, eternal sunshine went on to receive universal acclaim, both critically and commercially, with many touting it as Grande’s best work to date. Two of its singles, “yes, and?” and “we can’t be friends (wait for your love),” went on to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 upon release, while the record itself debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking her sixth number one album on the chart. Even on the Philippines Hot 100 chart, “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” currently positions itself at the No. 55 spot of the chart more than one year past its initial release.

Just recently, Ariana Grande kept herself busy throughout the 2025 awards season, having been nominated for her acting in various award shows for her role as Glinda in Jon M. Chu’s blockbuster musical Wicked. She is set to reprise her role in the film’s upcoming sequel, Wicked: For Good, which is scheduled for release worldwide this November 21, 2025.

eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead is set to release on several physical formats, including two limited edition variants for the vinyl and CD formats, with one variant featuring an alternate cover artwork. All physical records are scheduled to be released together with its digital release later this month on March 28, 2025, and can be pre-ordered here.
