Any Name’s Okay want to tell you “How The Heart Breaks.”
The beloved alternative pop band has just released their latest single today (May 22, 2025), which features an entirely new sonic direction for the band. Produced by Ysanygo’s Ygo Ferraz and penned by frontwoman Sofia Abrogar, the newly released track embraces a slower tempo that features a more somber tone, with additional bossa nova elements that set it apart as a unique entry from the rest of their discography.
“How The Heart Breaks” follows the release of their recently released pop-punk single “Cake,” which was dropped this February. Together with the singles “Cobalt Blue” and “Tabing Dagat,” these songs have been teased to be a part of the band’s long-awaited debut album that is expected to be released within the next year.
Any Name’s Okay first came onto the indie circuit in 2019 with the release of their viral single “Clouds,” and soon followed it up with their debut EP, All I Feel And See. The group then released their second EP, Leaving Home, in 2022.
