Addison Rae is coming out with a new single, titled “Aquamarine.”

The news was shared by the viral pop star on her official social media platforms, as she clued audiences and fans alike with its impending release date later this week on October 25, 2024 (Friday). The track was first teased by Rae even prior to the release of its chart-breaking predecessor, “Diet Pepsi,” with the fifteen-second snippet showcasing her soft yet dreamy vocals backed by a beat reminiscent of Madonna’s 1998 album, Ray of Light.

Just recently, the TikTok star’s “Diet Pepsi” made its way all the way up to No. 23 on Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 chart, showcasing her mass appeal with the general public. The track and its black-and-white music video have continued to gain further traction on several online spaces and platforms, proving that Rae’s resonance continues to reach new audiences with every passing day.

Rae was also recently part of Charli XCX‘s newly-released Brat remix album, having joined the likes of Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Lorde, The 1975, Tinashe, Caroline Polachek, and more as contributors to the project. Her appearance on the “von dutch” A.G. Cook remix marks her second collaboration with Charli, following the latter’s guest feature on Rae’s debut extended-play AR for the the track “2 die 4.”
