5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) are in for a very eventful 2026. The Australian pop-rock quartet has announced the ‘EVERYONE’S A STAR! World Tour,’ set to kick off in March 2026, in support of their forthcoming sixth studio album, Everyone’s a Star!
The world tour will kick off in March, starting in Europe and continuing across the United Kingdom until May, before heading to North America through August. The band will then return home for a few shows in Australia, followed by performances in New Zealand in October and November.
Initially, the announcement, revealed on YouTube through the faux music video for “Boyband,” which ultimately turned into a tour announcement, only included these dates. However, more markets are expected to be added soon, as notable regions such as Latin America and Asia (including Southeast Asia and the Philippines), where 5SOS has a massive following, were missing from the initial announcement.
Coinciding with the tour announcement, 5SOS have also dropped their latest single, “Telephone Busy,” the third single from the new album ,arriving on November 14, 2025.
Following their previously released singles “NOT OK” and “Boyband,” the bass-heavy “Telephone Busy” features members Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford, and Ashton Irwin, all lending their vocals. “World is spinning, I’m not dizzy / Call you, but your telephone’s busy / I’ve been thinking, do you miss me? / Does my memory make you wanna kiss me?” the members sing together and in parts in the chorus.
The track was first previewed during a free pop-up show in Los Angeles at The Sun Rose in West Hollywood, which was streamed live on TikTok. During the exclusive event, the quartet performed a mix of their biggest hits and currently unreleased tracks from the upcoming album.
