The final stretch of Masskara Festival 2025 is just around the corner.
With the final weekend of Bacolod’s annual Masskara Festival (or Pista ng Masskara) coming up from October 17 to 19, the most exciting weekend of music in the Bacolod region is nearing. Since its inception in 1980, the Masskara Festival has brought great attention to the now-dubbed ‘City of Smiles,’ making it a go-to spot for tourists every fourth Sunday of the month. Previous iterations of this city-wide celebration involved lineups with performers like BINI, Sarah Geronimo, and many more.
On that note, this year’s roundup of musical performances for this Masskara weekend is no less exciting than the years before, with big OPM acts from all around the country making their way to join the grand celebration. With events from drag festivals to massive music festivals, the weekend will be celebrating music in a variety of genres, forms of expression, and more.
