The Filipino Music Awards (FMA) 2026 was once again a night to remember.
But beyond the honors and accolades, it was a celebration of the artists, stories, and voices shaping the ever-evolving landscape of Original Pilipino Music (OPMOPMShort for Original Pilipino Music, the body of songs created by Filipino artists, spanning genres from ballads and rock to hip-hop and pop. In true FMA fashion, the night featured show-stopping performances from industry icons to today’s needle-movers and hitmakers, all exemplifying the talent and artistry that define Filipino music on the stage.
From hard-hitting collaborations to standout solo performances, the ceremony brought together some of the biggest and most exciting names in OPM, past and present.
With that, here are ten unforgettable performances you may have missed at the 2026 Filipino Music Awards.
Maki — “Bughaw,” “habangbuhay pansamantala,” “Dilaw,” and “Namumula”

Opening this year’s ceremony was Maki, who delivered a medley of fan favorites and hits that have soundtracked listeners’ lives through love, friendship, yearning, and growing up. We can easily describe the performance as a multiverse of Makis, with the “Dilaw” hitmaker dressed in different personas and outfits throughout his set. Maki himself even shared that the performance was special and something he had never done before. The FMA crowd danced and sang their hearts out, making his colorful spectacle a fitting way to kick off the night.
Kamikazee — “Narda”

From one genre to another, one of Pinoy rockPinoy RockA tradition of rock music made by Filipino bands and singers, featuring guitar-driven sounds and Tagalog or English lyrics. Emerging strongly in the 1970s and 1980s, Pinoy rock shaped OPMGo to Pinoy Rock Glossary’s finest of the 21st century, Kamikazee, took it back to the mid-2000s as the FMA crowd roared when they played “Narda.” The 2006 hit has never gone out of style, remaining a timeless karaoke classic and a crowd favorite that continues to be sung by generations of Filipino music fans. Kamikazee and Janine Berdin – “Huling Sayaw”

Kamikazee followed it up with hit after hit. This time, it was “Huling Sayaw,” with a surprise appearance from Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Rock Song of the Year nominee Janine Berdin, who joined them on stage. In a meeting of voices from different generations, Berdin and the band brought a new flair to the fan-favorite track, with the FMA crowd jumping to their feet and singing along.
KAIA — “hulog”

OPM isn’t complete without the vibrant world of P-pop entering the picture. KAIA was simply dreamy as they enchanted the FMA crowd. The People’s Choice: Star of the Night winners performed their Pop Song of the Year-nominated track, “hulog.” The performance was made even more exciting as it served as a preview of what’s to come for the five-member girl group. During their red carpet interview with Billboard Philippines, KAIA revealed that an upcoming EP is on the horizon.
G22 — “Filipina Queen”

Taking the FMA stage for the first time, G22, the “Female Alphas” of P-popP-PopShort for Pilipino pop, a movement of Filipino idol groups and solo acts who combine pop music, choreography, and polished production for local and international audiences. It was an all-out affair for the trio as they brought their signature fierceness to the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena, rocking the venue to its very core with their live rendition of “Filipina Queen.”

Alamat was caught serving up a flavorful performance of “Sinigang,” which was named R&B Song of the Year alongside Denise Julia’s “LOVE AGAIN.” Staying true to the song’s rich Filipino identity, the six-member P-popP-PopShort for Pilipino pop, a movement of Filipino idol groups and solo acts who combine pop music, choreography, and polished production for local and international audiences. Erik Santos and Kyla delivered a heartfelt live duet of Santos’ ballad “Pagbigyang Muli.” The mics were definitely on as the pair showcased their impressive vocal prowess, captivating the FMA crowd with their powerful and emotive performance.
Gary Valenciano — “Hataw Na”

Not too long after, the FMA crowd was energized to a tee as Gary Valenciano rocked the stage with his thrilling performance of “Hataw Na.” Undoubtedly, Mr. Pure Energy hasn’t missed a beat or a step as he brought his infectious energy to the FMA stage, proving once again that audiences are always in for an electrifying experience whenever he takes the stage.

The second FMA wouldn’t be complete without the crowd being treated to a performance of Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart-topper “Since Day One.” The Song of the Year and Hip-Hop Song of the Year-winning track was brought to life by the dynamic duo of Skusta Clee and Flow G in what was nothing short of a show-stopping performance.
Parokya ni Edgar, Elmo Magalona, and Flow G — “Bagsakan”

The final performance of the night truly tore the house down. Parokya ni Edgar brought their iconic “Bagsakan” to the FMA stage in an explosive affair. The band was joined by Elmo Magalona (rapping the verseVerseA section of a song that advances its story or message, typically sharing the same melody with different lyrics each time.
