On December 6, 2024, the up-and-coming singer-songwriter closed off his year by releasing a brand new single entitled “Sa Bawat Sandali.” Not long after, the heartfelt ballad started gaining steady traction online, charming listeners with its lyrical themes of cultivating a love that is “constant, calm, and sure.” “This is the love that I experience with my loved ones — my family, my girlfriend, and my small circle of friends,” Amiel Sol tells Billboard Philippines when asked what inspired the track, describing this form of love as one that “you would like to come home to after a tiring day… that makes you grow together.”

For Amiel Sol, he believes that all humans desire for such a serene form of love, noting that while we often look forward to the “kilig stage” of things, a “calm love” is what we truly want in the long run. With this, it’s no surprise why the track slowly began to resonate with more and more Filipinos throughout the country as time passed by. 

Sooner or later, the single’s listeners grew from thousands to millions in a matter of weeks, notably thanks to an exponential surge in people discovering the song on platforms like TikTok and its usage on the popular romantic comedy series Ang Mutya ng Section E.

In the first few months alone following its release, “Sa Bawat Sandali” gifted Amiel Sol with unprecedented milestone after unprecedented milestone. From quickly rising through the Billboard Philippines charts to playing bigger and bigger stages, it transformed the trajectory of his flourishing musical career forever, introducing him and the rest of his discography to more and more listeners from both the Philippines and beyond.

“It’s not an understatement to say that ‘Sa Bawat Sandali’ has changed my life,” the hitmaker reveals, noting how the song’s success has been a huge surprise for him, especially since he has never had a release enter the charts before this. “I always have a positive mindset that each song of mine would have great reception with my audience, but this has definitely exceeded my expectations.”
