Billboard Brasil is releasing its magazine’s 15th issue this May with four different covers featuring Lady Gaga and SEVENTEEN, as well as Brazil’s very own Thiaguinho and DJ Alok.

Launched in 2023 under Mynd8, Billboard Brasil released its first magazine issue on October 13, 2023 with four different covers, featuring Brazilian rappers Criolo and Marcelo D2, American rapper and singer-songwriter Post Malone, American pop singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha, and Brazilian singer-songwriter Luísa Sonza.

Alongside these, it also operates five local charts of its own to date that monitor the hottest releases and artists within Brazil. Namely, these are the Brasil Hot 100, the Artistas 25, the Brasil Hot 100-Radio, the Artistas 25-Radio, and the Sua Música Billboard Brasil Top 50 charts.

In April 2025, Billboard Brasil unveiled the four cover stories of its 15th issue, exploring stories from pop icon Lady Gaga, K-pop hitmakers SEVENTEEN, influential Brazilian singer and songwriter Thiaguinho, and acclaimed Brazilian DJ and producer Alok.

The first of the Brazilian cover stars is Thiaguinho — a Brazilian singer-songwriter who is recognized for his significant influence on contemporary samba and pagode. This particular Billboard Brasil story on him commemorates the 10th anniversary celebration of Tardezinha, a musical event founded by Thiaguinho that “began as an intimate samba gathering and has evolved into a major event that serves as a model for the entertainment industry in Brazil.”

Meanwhile, DJ Alok’s story highlights his achievements in gaining global recognition “for his dynamic performances and popular songs. It goes into the renowned producer’s journey within the music industry and discusses “his impact on the global electronic music scene.”

For SEVENTEEN’s cover story, Billboard Brasil commemorates the South Korean boy group’s 10th anniversary together, diving into SEVENTEEN’s “remarkable achievements and contributions to the music industry, including their status as headliners at major festivals.”

Lastly, Lady Gaga’s cover story is for a special edition of the magazine’s 15th issue, honoring the game-changing popstar’s love for Brazil. Here, they notably highlight the “Abracadabra” hitmaker’s forthcoming free concert at Copacabana Beach — otherwise affectionately known as ‘Gagacabana’ — which is set to happen this May 3, 2025 (Saturday). It serves as Lady Gaga’s first time performing in the country in over a decade and is expected to draw millions in attendance.
