Stray Kids has been chosen as the new global ambassadors for the popular South Korean snack Pepero, which are pretzel snacks covered in chocolate, peanut, almond, and more.

In a post on X, Lotte Wellfood, the producers of Pepero, shared their excitement about partnering with Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N.

Lotte Wellfood aims to spread the values of sharing through its Pepero brand. This collaboration with the eight-member group further shares the values with a larger audience, such as K-pop fans around the world.

The campaign’s first key visual reveals each member showcasing their diverse and unique personalities with a pack of Pepero in hand. Lotte Wellfood also revealed plans for more campaigns and events with the group, to be held during the weeks leading up to Pepero Day, which is celebrated annually on November 11.

It is a holiday where people exchange Pepero sticks to show love and appreciation to friends, family, and even co-workers. Similar to Valentine’s Day, this special day focuses more on friendships and creating meaningful social connections.

“With Stray Kids, an incredibly popular group, we will focus on promoting Pepero and Pepero Day to Generation Z+, who are at the heart of global cultural consumption. We hope you will follow with interest the many upcoming campaigns with our new global ambassadors,” a representative from Lotte Wellfood shares in a statement.

As part of their seventh anniversary last March 25, the group released their single album, Mixtape: dominATE, which is the fifth installment of the “Mixtape Project.”
