The IV of Spades hype in the US continues.
On October 3 (for the week of October 5, 2024), Billboard revealed its rankings for the TikTok Billboard Top 50 — the first “US-based chart to monitor music discovery and engagement” on the TikTok social media platform. On the chart’s rankings, “Come Inside Of My Heart” by IV of Spades continues to occupy a spot in the top 5, taking the No. 5 spot this week.
Prior to this, the viral track first entered the chart’s top 5 during the week of September 28, 2024, immediately attaining the No. 3 spot. This significantly follows its initial entry into the chart on the week of September 21, achieving a debut ranking of No. 13.
“Come Inside Of My Heart” initially went viral on platforms such as TikTok a few years following its release alongside IV of Spades’ debut album CLAPCLAPCLAP! in January 2019. This led to the band releasing the track as single on February 2023, which includes the original version of the song, a sped up version, and a slowed down version. Since then, the heartfelt track has gone on to gain widespread attention and usage, eventually achieving international popularity on TikTok and leading to its continued ranking within the TikTok Billboard Top 50
The TikTok Billboard Top 50 is officially known as “the first official chart in the US to monitor music discovery and engagement” on the social media platform. Launched last September 14, 2023, the chart is designated as “the verified list of the hottest songs on TikTok each week, giving the most accurate record of the current music trends happening in the US market.” The rankings are determined by factors that include “a combination of creations, video views, and user engagement by the US TikTok community.” The chart is updated weekly every Thursday.
Formed in 2014, IV of Spades or IVOS are vocalist and bassist Zild Benitez, vocalist and guitarist Blaster Silonga, and drummer Badjao De Castro. In 2018, former lead vocalist and guitarist Unique Salonga left the group months before the release of CLAPCLAPCLAP!, subsequently pursuing a solo career. Currently, IVOS are on an indefinite hiatus since 2020, with Benitez and Silonga having also established their own solo careers since then while De Castro formed the band Party Pace with Raymund Marasigan, Eco Del Rio, and John Apura.
