The Bloomfields have officially gained their first ever entry on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 this week.

On January 21, 2026, Billboard Philippines revealed its chart rankings for the week of January 24, 2026. On the Philippines Hot 100, a notable new entry comes in the form of The Bloomfields’ “Ale” as it makes its debut on the chart at No. 74.

Released on January 27, 2007 as part of the Filipino rock band’s self-titled album, the track is a rendition of singer Richard Reynoso’s song of the same name, which came out on March 20, 1989 as part of his debut album Puwede Ba? Nearly two decades after the cover came out, the song has found renewed interest and popularity online, especially on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. On there, users have recently been using the song on their videos, particularly for “fit checks” and clips relating the song’s lyrics to Cubao Expo — a cultural hub in Cubao, Quezon City that is popular with and is often associated with the Filipino indie music scene and communities.

For the Billboard Philippines Hot 100’s top 10 this week, fitterkarma maintain their hold on the No. 1 spot with “Pag-Ibig Ay Kanibalismo II.” followed by Cup of Joe’s “Multo” at No. 2 and fitterkarma’s “Kalapastangan” at No. 3. Following them are Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” and “Man I Need” at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
