This week on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 (dated June 14, 2025), viral singer-songwriter Sombr has climbed up to the No. 4 spot of the chart with his track “back to friends.” The song has currently lasted nine weeks on the chart, and was previously placed at the No. 7 position last week.

Most of the top 10 remains unchanged, as the Baguio-bred band, Cup of Joe, stays on top with the timeless “Multo,” followed by Earl Agustin at No. 2 with his addictive “Tibok.” Likewise, NIKI’s heartfelt rendition of “You’ll Be In My Heart” remains at No. 3, and HELLMERRY’s “My Day” moves down a spot, as well as Dionela’s “Marilag” now at the No. 6 spot. Cup of Joe’s evergreen hit with Janine, “Tingin” ranks up, now placing at No. 7, and Ariana Grande’s collaborative piece with Troye Sivan, “Supernatural,” moves down to the No. 8 spot. Capping off the top 10 are Earl Agustin with “Dalangin” at the No. 9 spot and Amiel Sol at the No. 10 spot with “Sa Bawat Sandali.”

Sombr made his official debut in 2021 with the track “nothing left to say,” and has since then been churning hit after hit. Most notably, “back to friends” was released in December of 2024, and his latest release, “undressed,” has also been gaining global popularity.
