Shirebound and Busking (now known as Shirebound) have just made their debut entry on the Billboard Philippines charts.
The indie-folk band has entered the Philippines Hot 100 chart with their 2019 single, “Waltz of Four Left Feet,” which positions itself at the No. 52 position. The track’s sudden appearance within the local charts could be attributed to its viral nature across a variety of social media platforms such as TikTok, wherein several listeners have been utilizing the song across their own fan-edits, day-in-the-life reels, and more types of video content. Even on the platform, their live performance videos have continued to gain significant traction, showcasing their immense appeal over thousands of local listeners.
Elsewhere on this week’s Billboard Philippines charts, other new entries include Sabrina Carpenter’s latest single “Manchild,” ENHYPEN’s new single from their new EP, “Bad Desire (With or Without You),” Parokya Ni Edgar’s “Pangarap Lang Kita,” and Coldplay’s “The Scientist.”
This week’s Top 10 of the Philippines Hot 100 includes Cup of Joe‘s “Multo” still reigning at the No. 1 spot of the chart, closely followed by Earl Agustin‘s “Tibok” at No. 2, and NIKI‘s cover of “You’ll Be In My Heart” at No. 3. Sombr’s “Back To Friends” still stands at No. 4, while HELLMERRY’s “My Day” finds itself still locked in at No. 5.
Dionela’s “Marilag” also remains stationary at No. 6, followed by Earl Agustin’s “Dalangin” at No. 7, and Amiel Sol’s “Sa Bawat Sandali” at No. 8. Cup of Joe and Janine Teñoso’s beloved collaboration hit, “Tingin,” snags the penultimate spot of No. 9, while Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild” closes off the Top 10 for the week.
Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
