Rob Deniel enters the top 10 of the Billboard Philippines chart (dated November 17, 2025) with his cover of Ogie Alcasid’s classic hit “Nandito Ako.”
The track debuts at No. 10 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, marking another strong chart performance for the rising balladeer. Earlier this year, Deniel performed his renditions of Alcasid’s “Ikaw Sana” and “Nandito Ako” during the 10th Wish Music Awards tribute segment honoring the OPM icon. The performance sparked renewed appreciation for Alcasid’s originals, with Deniel’s renditions offering a fresh take on the beloved OPM classics.
“Nandito Ako” isn’t the only track of his currently on the Hot 100 chart. Following its success, his cover of “Ikaw Sana” currently lands at No. 21, his rendition of Jaya’s “Wala Na Bang Pag-Ibig” takes the No. 53 spot, and his original song “Romcom” is at No. 67.
The song’s charting follows the release of his live album, RD Covers (Live), on October 29, which features his renditions of several OPM favorites — including “Nandito Ako,” “Ikaw Sana,” “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang,” and “Wala Na Bang Pag-Ibig.”
Additionally, on the Top Philippine Songs chart, “Nandito Ako” holds the No. 4 spot, with Soapdish’s “Tensionado” at No. 3, December Avenue’s “Saksi Ang Langit” at No. 2, and Cup of Joe’s “Multo” continuing to reign supreme at the coveted No. 1 position.
On December 5, the 22-year-old hitmaker is set to share the stage with some of OPM’s biggest artists — Arthur Nery, Adie, and Amiel Sol at the ‘RAAA’ Concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
