Once again, Olivia Dean reaches new heights on the Billboard Philippines charts this week (dated December 20, 2025) with her beloved chart-topper, “So Easy (To Fall In Love).”
After spending a total of nine weeks on the Philippines Hot 100 chart, the rising R&B-soul track moves up to the No. 3 position for the first time ever. The track overtakes Dean’s other chart-topping hit single, “Man I Need,” which remains unchanged at the No. 4 position for the second week in a row. Both tracks stand as the biggest singles to come out of the English musician’s sophomore album, The Art of Loving, which also spawned “A Couple of Minutes,” present on this week’s Philippines Hot 100 at the No. 40 position.
Olivia Dean’s growing influence and hold over Philippine listeners could be traced to each track’s virality on various social media platforms, whether it be TikTok and Instagram. Since the album’s release in late September of this year, her songs have soundtracked numerous reels, vlogs, and varying forms of short-form content on such platforms, boosting its popularity across various editorial playlists on digital and streaming applications such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Given the newfound interest in Olivia Dean’s music, the Philippines has risen to the Top 5 position in the list of her highest-performing regions nationwide, with Quezon City solely honing over 737,000 monthly listeners. Additionally, it has also led more listeners nationwide to dive deeper into Dean’s older digscography, leading to the debut of “Dive” (from her debut record Messy) on the Philippines Hot 100 at the No. 75 spot.
Elsewhere on the Philippines Hot 100, the Top 10 sees Cup of Joe’s “Multo” still reigning supreme at No. 1, closely followed by Fitterkarma’s rising hit single, “Pag-Ibig Ay Kanibalismo II” at No. 2. Taylor Swift still occupies two spots with “Opalite” at No. 5 and “The Fate of Ophelia” at No. 8, while Tyla’s “CHANEL” moves up to No. 6. Loonie and Arthur Nery’s collaboration hit, “Palaisipian” moves down to No. 7, alongside Soapdish’s “Tensionado” that finds itself at No. 9 this week. At No. 10 is another Fitterkarma hit, “Kalapastangan”, which enters the Top 10 for the first time ever.
Billboard Philippines’ Hot 100 chart ranks the biggest songs in the country by both local and international artists on a weekly basis, using audio and streaming data collected by data provider Luminate. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines’ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart, with both updated every Wednesday.
