NIKI is making a buzz throughout the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 this week.
On February 19, 2025, Billboard Philippines unveiled its chart rankings for the week of February 22, 2025. On the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI notably occupies four spots on the chart this week, including one new entry.
The first of these songs is “Backburner” from her beloved sophomore album Nicole, which makes a massive leap from No. 56 last week to No. 34 this week. Next is her 2019 hit single “lowkey,” which also makes a major jump as it moves from No. 83 last week to No. 66 this week. Meanwhile, two other tracks from Nicole are also on the Philippines Hot 100 this week. This comes in the form of “Oceans & Engines” making its debut at No. 78, as well as “Take A Chance With Me” as it moves from No. 98 last week to No. 84 this week.
The appearance of multiple tracks from NIKI on the chart this week notably comes after her two sold-out shows at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on February 11 and 12, 2025. The two shows are part of the hitmaker’s world tour in support of her third album Buzz. Due to overwhelming demand, she is set to return to Manila this March 1, 2025 for a third show set to be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The show is also officially sold out.
For the top 10 of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 this week, Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “luther” regains the No. 1 spot as Dionela’s “Marilag” moves to No. 2, while TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s “Palagi” ranks up to No. 3. Immediately following them are Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” and Yung Kai’s “Blue” at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
In addition, Billie Eilish moves to No. 6 with “BIRDS OF A FEATHER,” followed by Amiel Sol’s “Sa Bawat Sandali” ranking up to No. 7. Meanwhile, Dionela and Jay R’s “sining” is at No. 8, followed by SZA’s “BMF” moving to No. 9, and lastly, Dionela’s “Oksihina” rounding off the top 10 at No. 10 this week.
