This week on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 (dated August 23, 2025), Khel Pangilinan (also known as Michael Pangilinan) has made it onto the Chart with his viral track “Alipin.” Breaking into the Chart at the No. 58 position, the song has resurfaced in popularity following its release in November of 2024.

A majority of the top 10 on the Philippines 100 remain unchanged, as Cup of Joe continues their reign at the top spot with “Multo,” followed by KPop Demon Hunters’ girl group HUNTRIX at No. 2 with “Golden.” December Avenue climbs up to No. 3 with “Saksi Ang Langit” while Justin Bieber’s “Daises” takes the No. 4 spot, and sombr’s “Back To Friends” sits at the No. 5 position. Kehlani’s “Folded” takes the No. 6 position as KATSEYE rises to the No. 7 spot, and Le John’s “Naiilang” sits at No. 8. The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack takes up the last two remaining spots of the top 10, as “Soda Pop” and “Free” take No. 9 and 10 respectively.

Khel Pangilinan is a Filipino singer-songwriter, actor, and model who first broke into the scene by placing as the first runner-up on the second season of Your Face Sounds Familiar. He then made his debut with the five-piece male singing group Harana in 2015 under Star Music. “Alipin” was originally debuted under the artist’s first edition of his BANDROOM SESSIONS series, which was released on November 20, 2024.
