With the positive response to their latest comeback, KATSEYE have made a strong impact on this week’s Billboard Philippines chart (dated May 17, 2025).

The global girl group’s latest single, “Gnarly,” had made its way all the way up the Philippines Hot 100 at the No. 25 spot of the chart. The track has gained significant prominence across a variety of social media platforms (such as TikTok and Instagram) and has resonated thoroughly with Philippine audiences — whether it’s because of the popular dance challenge it has spawned, its catchy lyrics, or even the viral live performance videos of KATSEYE’s members.

This marks their highest debut on the Billboard Philippines charts, given that their previous hit single, “Touch,” made its debut at the No. 83 spot. The strength of KATSEYE’s “Gnarly” and its chart performance further demonstrate their consistent hold over Filipino listeners and their immense impact as they continue to make a bigger splash within the global pop scene.

Elsewhere on the Billboard Philippines charts, Cup of Joe still reign supreme at the top of the charts, given the unmoving position of “Multo” at No. 1. Following close by is Earl Agustin with “Tibok” at No. 2, alongside NIKI’s cover of Phil Collins’ “You’ll Be In My Heart” that still places itself at No. 3. Dionela’s “Marilag” moves up a spot to No. 4, while HELLMERRY’s “My Day” finds itself at No. 5 this week.

JENNIE’s popular hit single “like JENNIE” still retains its position at No. 6 of the chart, and is followed by another entry from Cup of Joe with “Tingin” featuring Janine Teñoso at No. 7. Amiel Sol’s “Sa Bawat Sandali” ranks at No. 8, while Ryouji and CK YG’s “B4 I LET YOU GO” stands at No. 9 of the chart. Capping off the Top 10 of the Philippines Hot 100 is TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s eternal love ballad “Palagi.”

The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
