IV Of Spades have just made their debut on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart (dated November 16, 2024).
The beloved alternative pop-funk band entered the chart with the viral hit single “Come Inside Of My Heart,” which served as the lead single of the group’s 2019 debut album, CLAPCLAPCLAP!. Over the years, the track has continued to find an audience not merely in the Philippines, but also overseas, to the point that “Come Inside Of My Heart” charted on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 earlier this October. The resurgence of the track has attracted audiences to rediscover the magic and artistry of the now-inactive band, further boosting their popularity once more as fans look forward to a possible reunion of the group.
Alongside IV Of Spades’ “Come Inside Of My Heart,” other new entries on the Philippines Hot 100 include Bruno Mars‘ “Locked Out Of Heaven” at No. 46, BABYMONSTER’s “Drip” at No. 56, Dilaw’s “Uhaw” at No. 67, PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Make It To The Morning” at No. 81, Lord Huron’s “The Night We Met” at No. 91, and Gracie Abrams’ “That’s So True” at No. 96.
Elsewhere on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, ROSÉ and Bruno Mars continue to hold the peak position of the chart with the viral “APT.” while Mars’ other collaboration track with Lady Gaga, “Die With A Smile,” closely follows behind at the No. 2 spot. Billie Eilish‘s soaring ballad “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” still ranks at No. 3. TJ Monterde‘s “Palagi” remains unchanged in its position at No. 4.
Dionela and Jay R’s “Sining” stands at No. 5. At the same time, fellow chart-topper Maki moves up to No. 6, closely followed by Sabrina Carpenter’s “Taste” at No. 7. Robledo Timido’s “Gusto Ko Sakin Ka Lang” ascends up to No. 8, while the rest of the Top 10 is rounded up by Carpenter’s “Bed Chem” and LISA’s “Moonlit Floor” at the No. 9 and No. 10 spots respectively.
The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
