Earl Agustin has officially entered the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 for the very first time.

On March 19, 2025, Billboard Philippines revealed its chart rankings for the week of March 22, 2025. For the Philippines Hot 100, a significant new entry comes in the form of Earl Agustin’s “Tibok” as it makes its major debut on the chart, entering the top 10 and taking the No. 9 spot. Alongside this, it also makes its debut on the Top Philippine Songs chart this week at No. 5.

The groovy, synth-driven funk-pop track, which explores the topic of slowly falling in love with someone and hoping that they feel the same way, was released last June 16, 2023. The single was recently used in the popular VivaOne high school romantic comedy series Ang Mutya Ng Section E, which stars Ashtine Olviga, Andres Muhlach, and Rabin Angeles, helping it gain widespread attention and soon achieve viral success on platforms like TikTok.

Alongside “Tibok,” Agustin’s other 2023 single “Dalangin” has also simultaneously debuted on the Philippines Hot 100, making its initial entry into the chart at No. 61 this week.

For the rest of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100’s top 10, Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “luther” continues to reign at No. 1, followed closely by Dionela’s “Marilag” and Amiel Sol’s “Sa Bawat Sandali” at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. After them is TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s “Palagi” at No. 4, followed by SB19’s “DAM” at No. 5 and Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” at No. 6.

In addition, Yung Kai’s “Blue” moves to No. 7, followed by JENNIE’s “Like Jennie” making a stellar debut at No. 8. Meanwhile, rounding off the chart’s top 10 is HELLMERRY’s “My Day” as it takes the No. 10 spot this week.
