With her impressive progression on Billboard Philippines‘ charts, there’s no doubt that Gracie Abrams is close to solidifying her status as a bonafide star.

Rising from an indie-pop sensation to one of mainstream pop’s most recognizable songwriters, the 25-year-old musician had successfully made a strong impression on audiences across the globe, especially with her sophomore album, The Secret of Us. The record has spawned various hit singles that have managed to resonate with millions of listeners, including the Taylor Swift collaboration duet “Us,” the viral “I Love You I’m Sorry,” and now, the fast-paced “That’s So True.”

While “I Love You, I’m Sorry” found success on the Philippine charts (peaking at No. 64), the latter has made significant waves for Abrams’ career globally, even earning her a new peak position at the No. 11 spot of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart (dated January 25, 2025) This comes as a new peak for the beloved singer-songwriter’s hit track, as after eleven weeks of charting, “That’s So True” is closer than ever to breaking into the Top 10, which could easily solidify how strong her reach in the Philippines is.

Since debuting on the Philippines Hot 100 at the No. 96 spot last November 16, 2024, Abrams’ “That’s So True” has gradually made its ascent on the chart — weaving its way from No. 47 to No. 36, No. 34, No. 29, No. 26, No. 14, then down a spot to No. 15, then moving up to No. 12 and retaining the spot for two weeks before reaching a new peak position of No. 11.

Amidst the track’s continuously growing popularity across social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, it won’t come as a surprise to both Filipino and international Gracelanders if the track soon makes its way within the Top 10 of the Philippines Hot 100. Even on Billboard USA‘s Hot 100 rankings, “That’s So True” has broken ground to enter the Top 10, standing still at the No. 10 spot itself after reaching a peak position of No. 6 amidst its thirteen weeks on their chart.

The Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
