Adie just debuted a brand new entry to his discography here at Billboard Philippines: Mainstage anniversary event this October 15, 2024.
Titled “Nobya,” the heartfelt track was performed with a choir and quartet, skillfully demonstrating Adie’s ability to develop an emotional rapport with any set of listeners. With the ballad immediately swooning the thousands of people in attendance, it further exemplified how the “Mahika” hitmaker continues to hone and evolve in his confessional songwriting style, easily translating what is personal to him for a universal audience to enjoy.
Alongside the newly-debuted “Nobya,” he also performed a stripped-down rendition of “Paraluman” which perfectly represented his status as one of the local industry’s most promising talents of the next generation.
Late last December, Adie released his debut studio album, titled Senaryo — which includes the hit songs “Mahika,” “Paraluman,” “Tahanan,” and “Kursunada.” Earlier this year, the O/C Records musician released a single, “Closer You and I,” and his latest musical release, “Oh, Giliw.”
Adie’s performance follows heartfelt performances from TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan, Still ongoing, Billboard Philippines: Mainstage shall feature Moira coming up next, with Ben&Ben, Hev Abi, and some of the nation’s most renowned P-pop groups set to perform throughout the rest of the night.
