The Filipino Music Awards once again put the power in the hands of the people with the People’s Choice Awards. Vote for your favorite artist, song, and international artist.
The Filipino Music Awards (FMA) runs it back for another prestigious night honoring the best and most noteworthy in Philippine music throughout the calendar year.
Happening on October 6, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the evening brings together the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) industry’s biggest artists and legendary names for a celebration of music, with special performances throughout the night.
Fans also take part in the ceremony through the People’s Choice Awards, presented by Billboard Philippines. This gives Filipino audiences the opportunity to recognize the music and artists they have personally connected with throughout the year.
Among the ceremony’s major categories, this is the only one determined entirely by public vote.
The People’s Choice – Artist category honors the Filipino artist or group who has made the strongest impression on the public through their music and overall impact. Meanwhile, People’s Choice – Song recognizes the song that has most resonated with Filipino listeners and become a memorable part of their everyday lives. Additionally, the International Artist category celebrates a global artist who has gained significant popularity and influence among Filipino fans and listeners.
