Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine is clawing to cinemas near you very soon, and along with it is its star-studded soundtrack, which is unironically filled with several hit tracks that span various decades.

Artists like Stray Kids, *NSYNC, Fergie, Avril Lavigne, Green Day, The Goo Goo Dolls, John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Zac Efron, Zendaya, and Hugh Jackman himself are just some of the many artists whose music will be featured in the movie, making it an eclectic compilation of genres that encompass K-pop, pop, R&B, rock, and some musical theatre performances. Beyond the film’s soundtrack, the original score to Deadpool Vs. Wolverine will be composed by Rob Simonsen, who did work on A24’s Academy Award-winning film The Whale, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Adam Project, Nerve, and The Way Back, among others.

Over the years, music has always stood out as an important factor within the Deadpool trilogy, with the first film making exemplary use of DMX’s “X Gon’ Give It To Ya” all throughout the movie, while songs from Celine Dion, a-ha, Air Supply, Dolly Parton, and Skrillex were lovingly scattered all throughout its box office breaker of a sequel. The soundtrack for the third movie promises to be the most amusing one yet, making fans and movie-goers curious as to which scenes these songs will be applied to when the film is released in theaters worldwide.

Deadpool & Wolverine hits cinemas in the Philippines this July 24, 2024 (Wednesday), with both the soundtrack and original score scheduled to be released on the same day. The soundtrack will be made available on all digital platforms by then, while the special physical formats of the album on vinyl and CD will be made available a few days after on July 26, 2024.
