UDD (formerly Up Dharma Down) just dropped a special collection of shirts for their 20th anniversary.

On October 2, the indie-electronic veterans announced the release of a brand-new set of official merchandise in celebration of their 20 years together. In collaboration with visual art team Everywhere We Shoot, the trio have revealed three special shirts inspired by their latest singles from their forthcoming fifth studio album – “run deep,” “nanaman,” and “kapoy” featuring ZOYA. “This partnership and friendship, spanning over two decades, highlights our musical journey of constant artistic evolution,” the band stated in the announcement. “These limited-edition shirts are more than just merchandise; they represent our gratitude to you, our fans.”

According to the band, the design for each shirt “captures the essence of the songs, allowing [the wearer] to wear a piece of [their] ever-evolving art and connect with the milestones [they’ve] achieved together.” To make this release even more special, each design will only have 30 pieces made in total — available in one-size-fits-all, relaxed fit, with each being individually numbered.

“The collaboration also reflects the enduring synergy between us and Everywhere We Shoot — a relationship defined by pushing creative boundaries and constantly exploring new ideas,” the trio further elaborated. “As you wear these anniversary shirts, you not only show your love for the music but also take home a piece of history that has shaped our identity.

The new shirts are now available via the official UDD website or at the band’s upcoming Basement Sessions gig at Nokal in Makati City this October 5 (Saturday).

The limited-edition shirts were initially supposed to be available on-hand at a previous Basement Sessions show the band held last July. However, due to the effects of Typhoon Carina, the shirts were unable to arrive on time from their supplier, prompting UDD to extend the pre-order period of the shirts for two more weeks.
