SB19 brought Pinoy pride to the global stage as they graced the 2025 Hito Music Awards in Taiwan, captivating with their performances of their hits: “DUNGKA!,” “DAM,” and “GENTO” last Saturday, June 21.
The Kings of P-pop continue to showcase their talents and A-game and introduced their Simula at Wakas era with show-stopping performances of “DUNGKA!” and “DAM.” They were joined by rising Taiwanese six-piece boy band Ozone for a joint dance break on “GENTO.” SB19 also performed with Ozone on their track “World Top” and also took part in the World Top Challenge featuring the group.
Taiwan news outlet Central News Agency wrote (translated into English), “SB19 brought a special performance showing their kingly style, which made fans on the scene scream continuously.”
On X, the group thanked the opportunity of performing in Taiwan, saying, “We finally hit the stage at HIT FM! Thank you for making the stage burn even hotter and brighter for us.”
The P-pop group first visited Taiwan in October 2024, together with G22, as brand ambassadors of Acer Philippines. During the trip, they toured Acer’s headquarters and were named “honorary employees” of the company. They also previously appeared as guest mentors on the Taiwanese idol-survival show Atom Boyz Season 2. During their stay, they explored the famous Shilin Night Market and sampled local treats, guided by Taiwanese idols He Yankai, Huang Chongjun, and Li Jiahao.
SB19 return to Taiwan on June 29 for their Simula at Wakas World Tour, to be held at the Zepp New Taipei music hall.
