In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Japan and the Philippines, Kings of P-Pop SB19 and acclaimed Japanese-Filipino choreographer RIEHATA are set to have a special dance performance as part of Stella Dance Jam.

The two-day showcase, happening on June 20 and 21 at The Theatre at Solaire, commemorates the 2026 Japan-Philippines Friendship Year. It showcases both nation’s artistry and passion through dance, featuring performances from SB19, RIEHATA, XONARA, RHT, and J2X.

The Japan Foundation, Manila previously announced the collaboration on April 24 at a press conference. Shortly after, the official announcement was shared on their social media platforms, confirming the lineup of Japanese and Filipino acts.

On June 20, SB19 and RIEHATA will dominate the Solaire stage with their much-awaited collaboration. Joining them on stage are the “Stellas” — the rising young dancers handpicked in a series of auditions held in both Japan and the Philippines. Auditions were held in Davao on April 25 and Manila on April 26, selecting the dancers aged 18-39 who will perform with the two world-class artists.

Stella Dance Jam‘s second day will see RIEHATA and Japanese dance collective RHT collaborate with XONARA, 1Z Entertainment’s newest girl group, and J2X, a Filipino choreographer, in a high-energy dance performance.

The news of SB19 and RIEHATA’s team up follows the P-pop boy group’s recent cross-cultural collaboration with Japanese boy group, BE:FIRST. It marks another step into honoring the long-standing diplomatic partnership between the two countries.
