TJ Monterde is the latest OPM artist to join the vinyl records trend.
His former label, Polyeast Records, has announced the upcoming release of Monterde’s music on the vinyl format in a compilation album titled TJ Monterde. The upcoming vinyl release will include a ten-track collection of the beloved singer-songwriter’s older hit songs, such as “Ikaw at Ako,” “Dating Tayo,” and “Kung Siya Man,” among several other tracks. Unlike Monterde’s previous extended plays and self-titled album under the label, the forthcoming physical album will feature a brand new cover artwork that highlights the “Palagi” hitmaker’s lyricism for a number of tracks, edited over a silhouette of Monterde himself.

Now an independent artist, Monterde has reached even greater heights as of late, following the successful release of his latest album, Sariling Mundo (that featured the chart-topping hit single “Palagi”), and a string of sold-out concerts from his local and world tour of the same name. Just recently, he was featured in several popular collaborations — one of them being with Korean artist 10cm on their joint mini-album Single Romantics, and another with James Reid on the track “Pahinga.”
Polyeast Records’ TJ Monterde compilation album is priced at Php 2,299, and will be available nationwide beginning July 2, 2025 through the label’s official storefronts, as well as in local record stores like Backspacer Records and several others.
