KPop Demon Hunters is about to take over Fortnite, the popular battle royale game, with limited-time events, exclusive skins, and more — which goes live on the servers for a month-long period starting today, October 2, 4:00 PM (PH Time) to November 1.
The Demon Rush mode allows players to take on the demons to seal the Honmoon, along with exclusive content available in the Item Shop. The mode reimagines the game’s classic Horde Rush mode. Squads can band together to fight an endless wave of demons. One of the HUNTR/X members can also be recruited as an AI companion.
“Fans can team up with HUNTR/X to protect the Honmoon from the endless waves of faceless demons, in the new Demon Rush Mode […] All while channeling their inner Rumi, Mira, and Zoey with outfits and accessories (spicy ramyeon included, of course),” Epic Games says in a statement.
Meanwhile, players will also be able to build and publish their own games with the official assets from KPop Demon Hunters and licensed from Netflix.
One of the anticipated features is the set of exclusive skins for Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. Rumi comes with an outfit, the Ramyeon Back Bling, and the sword-like Sa-In-Geom. Mira includes an outfit, the Ramyeon Back Bling, and the polearm-style Gok-Do, while Zoey comes with an outfit, the Ramyeon Back Bling, the whip-like Shin-Kal, and a Thumbs Up Emote.
Additional rewards through Battle Royale and Blitz quests can be earned by players. These include: Rumi’s Sword, Zoey’s Golden Bubble Shield, Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon, and the Derpy Teleporter Mask.
