(G)-IDLE are taking their ‘i-DOL’ World Tour to the big screen.

On January 8, the South Korean girl group announced that they will be premiering a special concert film shot during their 2024 world tour, ‘i-DOL.’ In particular, the film is set to highlight the Seoul leg of the tour where the K-pop quintet kicked everything off last August 3-4, 2024 at the KSPO Dome. It saw a total of around 16,000 fans in attendance across both dates.

On January 10, 2025, SM Cinema announced that it is set to screen the film in theaters across the Philippines beginning from January 29, 2025 (Wednesday) until February 2, 2025 (Sunday). “Get ready for an electrifying concert experience featuring K-pop sensations (G)I-DLE!” it stated in the announcement post. Tickets are now available via SM Cinema. Prices may vary depending on the location.

(G)-IDLE’s ‘i-DOL’ World Tour was initially announced by the group’s label Cube Entertainment last May 2024. It saw a total of 14 dates in East Asia, Southeast Asia, the United States, and Australia. Spanning around three months, the tour began with the aforementioned shows in Seoul in early August and concluded with a show at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney last November 2, 2024.

The tour served as the follow-up to the “Queencard” hitmakers’ previous world tour the year prior, dubbed ‘I am FREE-TY.’ It was composed of a total of 24 shows, held across dates in Asia, North America, and Europe.
