Ely Buendia has just announced the premiere physical release of his latest album, Method Adaptor.
The Philippine rock legend shared the announcement alongside his label, Offshore Music, on their official social media platforms –– showcasing an image of the album on various physical media formats, which include a limited edition grey-colored vinyl, a black cassette, and a new issue CD format that features new artwork and packaging. Though no formal announcement has been made with regard to its release date, these highly anticipated records are expected to be released within 2025 as noted by its ‘coming soon’ tagline.

Method Adaptor marks the latest physical media release from both Buendia and Offshore Music, following the sold-out release of Eraserheads’ Cutterpillow on double disc colored vinyl, alongside the release of city-pop quintet ALYSON‘s Definitely Love! on vinyl for the first time. The label has also released physical records for Ena Mori, Oh, Flamingo!, Apartel, and more over the past few years.
In Billboard Philippines‘ year-end round-up for the 50 Best Albums and EPs of 2024, Buendia’s Method Adaptor was described as “Ely Buendia’s greatest achievement” over the past year thanks to its “guns blazing” approach, “with melodies and balls-to-the-wall guitar rock” that “showcases the confident sound of a master artist and songwriter with nothing to prove.”
